AnnMarie Jenkinson is the sole owner of Jenkinson Legal PLLC and the attorney who will personally handle your case from beginning to end. Education and Early Career
AnnMarie was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, attending Bishop Moore High School before pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. She graduated from Rollins College Cum Laude in 2005, demonstrating the academic commitment and intellectual discipline that would carry through every stage of her legal career.
AnnMarie began her legal education in 2006 at Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. During her time at Barry University, she distinguished herself both academically and professionally. She served as President of the St. Thomas More Society, an organization whose purpose is to promote high ethical and moral standards in the legal profession. She earned high honors in Healthcare Law and Trial Advocacy, and she participated in a clinical internship at the Barry University Children and Families Legal Clinic, where she served as a Certified Legal Intern approved by the Florida Supreme Court, representing dependent children under the supervision of a licensed attorney.
In 2007, while still attending law school, AnnMarie joined a personal injury firm as a legal intern and became familiar with all aspects of personal injury law by working directly on the firm’s cases. She sat for the Florida Bar Exam in July 2009, passed, and was admitted into the Florida Bar in October 2009. That same month she was promoted to Associate Attorney, where she continued to handle personal injury matters.
Building a Family Law Practice
In September 2010, AnnMarie made the decision to leave the personal injury field and join a firm focused primarily on family law. This move allowed her to build the deep, specialized expertise in Florida family law that her clients rely on today. She gained valuable litigation experience and has personally led many family law trials. Her knowledge spans the full range of family law matters, including uncontested and contested divorces, domestic violence injunctions, child support, alimony, paternity, parental time-sharing and responsibility, relocation matters, dependency cases, and modifications of prior court orders. Before leaving that firm, AnnMarie was promoted to Senior Associate Attorney.
Founding Jenkinson Legal
In 2015, Attorney AnnMarie Jenkinson made the decision to establish her own practice: Jenkinson Legal, PLLC. Her motivation was simple. She wanted to build a client-focused law firm where her clients’ needs are always the top priority and where every client receives the personalized, one-on-one attention they deserve.
